Training ground
In summer, training is scheduled to take place on the fantastic natural grass training pitch at Golling, just some 850m away. In the winter months (and in the summer if there is no availability), training takes place on an excellent, regularly maintained artificial grass pitch (FIFA-certified, third-generation, constructed in 2013, dimensions: 100 x 58 metres) in Scheffau, around 2.5 miles or a five-minute drive from the accommodation. Use of the changing room in Scheffau is included, and in Golling upon request. The artificial grass pitch is also the starting point of a nice running route (about five miles there and back), which is ideal for morning runs, for example, and is also cleared in winter.
The accommodation is divided into two parts: Restaurant/Bar Adler is located on the ground floor, while Hotel Adler, with its beautiful guest rooms and breakfast/dining area, can be found on the upper floors. In addition, a recreation room with darts, billiards, a drinks/pizza vending machine and a large flat-screen TV is available on request.

Rooms
The hotel has 24 guest rooms in total, which are all fitted with a flat-screen TV, bathroom with shower/WC and Wi-Fi internet access. Almost all guest rooms also have a balcony looking out onto the quiet inner courtyard. Football teams are preferably accommodated in single or double rooms as well as predominantly in shared rooms (triple, quadruple and a maximum of two five/six-bed rooms).

Location
Hotel
Football fields
Golling is situated in the Salzach Valley in the Tennengau region of the state of Salzburg, some 15 miles south of the city of Salzburg. Hotel & Gasthaus Adler is located right in the beautiful town centre.
Beach/Swimming facilities
The large leisure pool Aqua Salza is barely ten minutes away on foot.
In summer, we also recommend an excursion to the beautiful Harrbergsee in Scheffau am Tennengebirge, around 4 miles from the hotel.
Nightlife
Restaurant Adler on the ground floor is run as a bar in the evening.
Supporting programme
If you’re looking for some rejuvenation, we recommend the Aqua Salza leisure pool and a trip into the city of Salzburg, which is just a 25-minute drive away. If you’re here on the right dates, a nice option would be to take in a match involving either FC Red Bull Salzburg (Bundesliga) or SV Austria Salzburg (Salzburger Liga, with its enthusiastic fans).
Sports possibilities
Running, cycling, cross-country skiing + skiing (in winter).
Other
The quality of the food and drinks at Restaurant/Bar Adler – which was given a rating of 85 points by Falstaff – should be emphasised.
